To make a fertilizer tea:
1) Fill the bucket you will be using to mix the tea with water.
2) Let the water sit for 24 hours. This will allow the chlorine to dissipate.
3) Mix one cup of fertilizer for every one gallon of water. Allow this to sit for another 24 hours.
4) When ready, use a strainer like cheese cloth over the top of the bucket and pour the liquid into another bucket, straining the solids with the cheese cloth (or other straining method).
Water your plants with the liquid and/or use it as a foliar feed. Take the strained solids and mix them into the soil at the drip line of each plant.
