Our bat guano is harvested from caves only housing insectivorous bats. Our suppliers are the only two sources of OMRI/OIM approved bat guano commercially available in the US. It undergoes two processes for pathogen reduction. The raw material is dried in a dryer for 65 minutes at a minimum 155° F. Once applied to our soils, it is composted for a minimum of two weeks at or above 131 F, turned 5 times to ensure all the material gets consistent heat. It is not a vector for bacterial or viral pathogens. Additionally, we receive a veterinary health certificate for each load shipped in.
